Makers mark of «Nemirov-Kolodkin», «3MA». Moscow, 1908-1917. Weight of the silver: 282.6 g. Height of the glass: 7.5 cm.
A pair of cylindrical vodka beakers richly decorated with multicolored cloisonné enamel. One side shows a radiant sunrise above green hills, framed by stylized floral motifs. The reverse depicts a naturalistic scene with a white bird standing among foliage, flowers, and frogs, rendered in delicate painted enamel. The upper and lower rims are bordered with repeating ornamental patterns in red, white, and blue.
The firm of Nemirov-Kolodkin produced a wide range of silver and gold objects, from jewelry to ecclesiastical furnishings, all noted for their exceptional quality. The firm was granted the title Supplier to Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Elizaveta Feodorovna and counted among its clients prominent aristocratic families of Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as the Russian Orthodox Church.
