A Russian model 1834 sawback short sword. Massive brass handle. Came from private collection from the UK. The sword was probably used in Crimean war of 1853-55 and captured by the British forces. No scabbard. Good condition with clear markings. Made in 1847. Total length: 63 cm. Dimensions of a blade: 48.5 x 4.3 cm.

Gold cufflinks decorated with translucent red guilloché enamel framed in white enamel. The equilateral triangular design emphasizes clarity and symmetry. The reverse side features a cabochon stone in ruby, echoing the color of the enamel.
Knut-Oskar Pihl (1860–1924) was a Finnish jeweler and head master of the Moscow branch of the House of Fabergé between 1887 and 1897. At the age of six, Pihl was sent from Finland to St. Petersburg to live with his uncle, a watchmaker. He later trained in the workshop of the renowned Finnish jeweler August Holmström. His skill and precision so impressed Holmström that in 1887 he arranged the marriage of his daughter Fanny to Pihl and recommended him to Carl Fabergé.

An elegant gold brooch in the form of a lily of the valley sprig, the leaves enameled in translucent green and the ribbon in blue. The flowers are set with old-cut diamonds mounted in silver-topped gold.

Marked on the reverse with Moscow assay marks and maker’s initials.

The naturalistic design, delicate modeling, and subtle use of enamel place this jewel firmly within the Art Nouveau (Modern Style) tradition that flourished in Russia at the turn of the 20th century.

An ultra rare Swedish Trial Mauser 1913 bayonet. Only 500 of those were made and most of the bayonets were broken during the trial or scrapped afterwards. The bayonet is in used condition what is typical for this model because these were issued to the troops to test if the bayonets are worthy to be accepted in to service. Bayonet marked to the 4th company of the Norrlands Dragonregemente, the first unit to receive the bayonets for the trial. The serial number is 444. Total length: 48,5 cm.
