A Huge Dagestani black dagger with Gazali-made blade.
Very large “black” dagger made in Dagestan at the end of the XIX century. The blade is made by a famous Gazali or Gaza Ali bladesmith. These daggers are called “black” because of a very simple design with no silver grip or scabbard components. The condition is good with some wear and the scabbard chape missing. The size is huge, most daggers were made much smaller. Dimensions: Total length: 73.5 cm. Blade length: 56.8 cm. Blade width: 5 cm.
