Lyah Zinoviy – 412th infantry Slavic regiment, 2 companies, a non-commissioned officer was decorated with this St. George cross for distinction during the battle near the village of Klipicheh on July 30, 1917. After the loss of the platoon commander, he took charge of the command and with an example of personal bravery led his platoon into a counterattack and beat off the enemy, who had come to the flank. That move allowed surrounded Russian units to gain a better position in full view of the enemy. Dimensions: 41 x 34.3 mm. Weight with a ribbon: 16.1 g.
