The painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
Painter, graphic artist. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Art rating 4V. Born in Mogilev, lived in Moscow. He studied at the art studios in Ivanovo (1935-1937) and Kiev (1937-1939). During the great Patriotic war, the artist fought in the 254th infantry division. This division fought during the whole war. He was awarded many military orders and medals. In 1950-1953, he studied in Moscow under G.G. Koroleva, D. Tegin, G. Smirnova. Beginning in 1939, he participated in many art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions of his work were held in Moscow in 1963, 1968, 1969, 1972, 1982. The artist’s Works are in the State Museum of contemporary history of Russia (GTSMSIR, before the Central Museum of the revolution of the USSR), in the Museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kineshma art gallery, in other museums, and in many private collections.
