Rare Russian diptych icon with Christ Pantokrator and Saint Ioann forerunner. Wood, tempera, Silver, enamel. year 1706. The left leaf is an inscription in a circle denoting that it was a gift to the Great Sovereign Tsar, and Grand Prince Peter Alekseevich the First (Peter the Great). On the right leaf an inscription in a circle “Relics of the Holy Martyr George and Paraskeva” Dimensions: 6 X 5,5 (closed) X 11,5 (opened) cm.
