Model 1865 Russian infantry officer’s sword. In 1865, the saber was given to all generals and officers who previously wore a model 1841 officer’s Dragoon saber with an infantry lanyard. In year 1881 was replaced by the model 1881 Dragoon officer’s sword and thus was permanently removed from service. Total length, blade length, blade width: 98 x 73 x 2.7 cm.
