A fine 19th-century Persian khanjar with an impressive Wootz steel blade, showing a clear watered pattern. The blade is richly decorated with gold inlay, including an Arabic inscription.
The gilded hilt gives the weapon an elegant and refined appearance. The original leather-covered scabbard is fitted with finely worked silver mounts, adding to the quality and completeness of the piece.
Very good overall condition, with wear consistent with age.

Russian officer’s shashka with an etched blade, decorated with floral motifs, military trophies, and a large double-headed eagle. The blade was produced by Bleckmann, Solingen, and bears the distributor’s mark of Skosyrev.
