Vasiliy Egorovich Rukavishnikov was a master silversmith and niello craftsman active in Moscow in the 1890s and after 1908. His production was known for finely executed silverwork, and his pieces were periodically sold through the shop of Sh.M. Belenky, one of the most prominent jewelry and silver retailers of the time.

The lid is richly ornamented with asymmetrical floral scrolls and stylized thistle leaves, characteristic of early 20th-century Moscow silverwork. The soft organic curves and detailed repoussé modeling reflect the transition from late Imperial eclecticism to the sinuous elegance of the Modern style.
Nikolay Zverev was among the noted Moscow silversmiths of his time, known for his finely crafted silver and enamel objects — including belts, kovshi, napkin rings, and tea glass holders. His works are represented today in the State Historical Museum, Moscow.

Weight: 150.6 g.Emil Radke was one of the most prominent silversmiths in Minsk at the end of the 19th century, regarded as the second-best master of his time. A deeply religious Jew, he strictly observed all Jewish traditions and rituals. His workshop produced refined silver objects in the fashionable Art Nouveau style, often combining gilding, niello, and enamel.
This ashtray is a fine example of Radke’s craftsmanship and an excellent collectible piece for enthusiasts of Russian and Eastern European Art Nouveau silver.
