A Soviet silver-gilt cigar box, Latvia, 1937. Rectangular form, the hinged cover engraved with stylized borders imitating a cigar band. The inscriptions within the band read:
“ALEXANDRO PANDROS FILII – 100”, referencing a brand of Greek cigars that was popular and exported to Europe in the early 20th century.
The center of the lid bears an engraved monogram “PA”, likely the initials of the owner.

Weight: 894 g.The manufactory of Petr Pavlovich Milyukov, founded in 1875, became one of Moscow’s notable silver workshops. At the 1889 Paris Exposition, it was awarded an honorary mention. Today, works by Milyukov’s factory are preserved in major museum collections, including the State Historical Museum, the Moscow Kremlin Armoury, and the National Historical Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv.
